How old were you when you started your musical journey?
I started singing when I could talk! I have never known a life without music - it’s always been a part of who I am.

What instruments do you play?
I mainly sing, but I also play piano and I am re-learning guitar!

What's your favorite Netflix show to binge watch?
Friends, always Friends. I have seen it probably ten times through and I never get tired of it!

Why do you want to work at Destiny Studio?
When I was in high school I had two voice lessons, and one of those lessons completely changed my life. The vocal coach I was with told me something I’ll never forget. He said “you’ve always been able to do this, you’ve just told yourself you couldn’t and you decided to limit how you would let the Lord use you.” That voice lesson and those words he said to me completely changed the trajectory of my life and strengthened my relationship with Christ.

If one voice lesson altered my life, I know that could happen for others. I want to teach at Destiny Studio so that students can learn not only about music, but about themselves. I want students to have lessons where there can be those lightbulb, life-changing, moments. I want to create an environment where students can build confidence and will always be reminded that they are unique and talented.

Where do you go to college?
I am studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance at the School of Church Music at Southwestern Seminary.

Tell us a random fact/funny story about yourself.
I LOVE movies! Going to the movies, watching movies at home, new movies, old movies, movies I’ve seen a million times, I just love movies! Especially around Christmas time! I am obsessed with all things Christmas, so I love all the new cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies that come out every year and I watch every.single.one!
