Kayley Nell was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and has been singing/writing songs since childhood. She grew up performing church solos and was a member of Honor Choir & Show Choir in junior high/high school. Inspired by her grandmother, who began guitar lessons at age 86, she taught herself how to play. Since then, she has released two EP's currently available on iTunes. "Wanderlust" was nominated for an Independent Music Award for Best Country EP 2016. She also had the honor of winning Sing Me a Story's Songwriting Contest and performed at Tootsie's Birthday Bash in Nashville. She has received local radio play on 99.5 The Wolf and 92.1 Hank FM. Writing songs is her refuge and she hopes her music can be a source of comfort for her listeners.

While attending the University of North Texas, she was selected to sing live on NBC Today Show's "Quest For The Best Jingle Contest." She also enjoys creating humorous parodies for YouTube and has gained recognition from Good Morning America, Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, Buzzfeed, Business Insider & HollyWire TV.

In her spare time, you can find her performing around DFW with Andy Meadows and his 9-piece band. She also works as a "Singing Princess" for birthday parties and was delighted to be a performer in "Miss Ruby's Wild West Cabaret" at Six Flags. Kayley is excited to pass on her love for music, while helping students have fun and gain confidence in their musical abilities.
